Invited guests and media gathered at Sydney Common, Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park, to meet the stars of Back to the Future: The Musical which will have its Australian premiere in Sydney next month.

Broadway star and Tony Award winner Roger Bart wowed the crowd with his charm and touching performance of ‘For the Dreamers’. Bart will reprise the role he made famous on both the West End and Broadway in the Australian production. Rising star, Australia’s Axel Duffy, who will play Marty McFly, had the crowd cheering for more with his rendition of ‘The Power Of Love’.

Guests were greeted by a real DeLorean in the driveway, and enjoyed cocktails and Marty McFries, Tuna Rice Gigabytes and Biff’s Raw Deal beef tartare and potato scallops. The production opens at the Sydney Lyric on 26 September.
