
Ashleigh Rubenach
Lorraine Baines

Musical theatre Leading Lady Ashleigh Rubenach was born and raised in Sydney and is a graduate of the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She most recently toured Australia, Singapore and China as Betty Schaefer in Sunset Boulevard for Opera Australia and GWB Productions, for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Sydney Theatre Awards.
Ashleigh starred as Nancy in the Australian premiere of Groundhog Day at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne for GWB Productions, Johanna in Sweeney Todd at the Sydney Opera House (Victorian Opera), Milo Davenport in the Broadway-hit musical An American In Paris (GWB/Australian Ballet), and was much-lauded for her performance as Billie Bendix in the classic Gershwin musical Nice Work If You Can Get It (Hayes Theatre Company). One of her most notable accomplishments came with the role of Allison in Cry-Baby (Hayes Theatre Company) with her exceptional performance earning her the Best Female Actor award at the Sydney Theatre Awards. Other theatre credits include Muriel’s Wedding (Global Creatures), Anything Goes and My Fair Lady (GFO/Opera Australia), Funny Girl (Sydney Symphony Orchestra) and The Sound of Music (GFO); in which she not only performed but also understudied the role of Maria.
On screen Ashleigh has appeared as Lissa on Home and Away.

Ethan Jones
George McFly

A proud college dropout, Ethan’s performing career began back in 2013. Since than he has performed in, created, and produced theatre Australia-wide and abroad. He debuted on the mainstage in Cats: The Arena Spectacular (Brisbane Convention Centre, 2014), and was not long after directed by Simon Gallaher in Pirates of Penzance for QPAC’s 30th Birthday (QPAC Lyric Theatre, 2015). After performing overseas and graduating from WAAPA, Ethan was cast as “love-interest” ‘Joe’ alongside Marina Prior in the Australian tour of 9 to 5: The Musical (2022). He then portrayed the iconic role of Brad Majors and understudied Frank-N-Furter in the Legendary Rock Musical: The Rocky Horror Show, which celebrated its 50th Anniversary Tour of Australia (2023). Following this, Ethan joined the ensemble of Chicago the Musical (2023-24), and revelled in understudying Anthony Warlow as Billy Flynn. Ethan’s other credits include Disney in Concert: A Dream is A Wish (Perth Riverside Theatre, 2021), Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz (Crown Theatre, 2021), Lucas Beineke in The Addams Family Musical (Perth Regal Theatre, 2021), and Doody in Grease: The Arena Spectacular (Perth RAC Arena, 2019). He also produced and managed ‘1950s Prom’ (Perth Mess Hall, 2021), and has worked with Short + Sweet Festival, MELT Festival, and Anywhere Theatre Festival, all in QLD. Ethan has just stepped off stage in the critically acclaimed Australian touring production of Jesus Christ Superstar (2024-25), and is eager to announce future projects.

Javon King
Goldie Wilson / Marvin Berry

Javon King (he/him) is a Green Room Award winning New York City and Melbourne based actor, singer, and dancer. He most recently starred in the Australian Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar as Judas. Some additional Australian theatre credits include; Tristan/Young Man 6 in The Inheritance at fortyfivedownstairs, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls at Chapel off Chapel (Green Room Award winner for Best Supporting Actor), and Seaweed J. Stubbs in the Hairspray Australian Tour, where he received a Green Room Award nomination for his performance. Javon received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Rider University in New Jersey. Professionally back home in the US, Javon has toured internationally and across the United States as Angel Dumott Schunard in the 20th & 25th Anniversary Tour(s) of RENT. Other credits include, Henry/Jack understudy in Newsies and Mereb in Aida. He was also in a commercial for “Hairspray Live!” back in 2016 during the airing of the show! He is so grateful for this opportunity and to all of his friends and family back home for their continuous support of his dreams. Thomas McGuane
Biff Tannen

Thomas is a Melbourne-based actor and musician who graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in 2017. He is most known for the role of Hans in the national tour of Disney’s smash-hit musical Frozen, which toured across Australia and Singapore.
Other professional credits include the roles of Bob Gaudio in the Australian tour of Jersey Boys (New Theatricals) and Randall in the Australian premiere of Bring it on (David Venn Enterprises). He was also a guest artist at the Christmas Morning Melodies, Arts Centre Melbourne.
Whilst at VCA, Thomas played Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone, Ensemble/Bobby cover in Company (dir. Roger Hodgman) and an Australian Soldier in Oh, What a Lovely War, Mate! (Dir. Maude Davey).
Thomas was involved in a Michael Chekhov acting workshop at the VCA led by Fern Sloan and Ted Pugh from The Actors’ Ensemble, New York. He also appeared as a featured vocalist for both seasons of the VCA’s Morning Melodies: Best of Broadway and Hollywood Movie Musicals, plus is a proud recipient of the Cassidy Bequest Scholarship. He was a finalist in the 2017 Rob Guest Endowment Award.
More recently, Thomas created the role of the Prince in the brand new Australian musical Midnight and has toured and performed as a member of The Tap Pack around Australia and Internationally.

Anton Berezin
Strickland

Anton Berezin has been a stalwart of Australian music theatre for over 30 years. He had his professional debut with Australian Ballet at the age of 7 and has appeared in over 30 major musicals across Australasia. Born in Leningrad in the former Soviet Union, Berezin arrived in Melbourne as a refugee along with his family. He speaks fluent Russian and learned his ancestral language, Yiddish, as an adult. After graduating from Melbourne High School, he commenced a Law/Arts degree at Monash University. Having sung, danced and played cello throughout his childhood, he quickly became active in the student theatre community at university. In 1992, Berezin was cast in Follies for the Melbourne International Festival and deferred his studies.
Among his many roles, in 2025 Berezin performed the iconic role of Max Bialystock in The Producers for Hayes Theatre. Other productions have included Elegies, Rootless Cosmopolitans, Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Sweeney Todd, Wicked, Ragtime, the original Australian Company of The Producers, Side Show Alley, Cabaret the Musical, Follies, Fiddler on the Roof, How To Succeed in Business, Cats, Mack and Mabel, Anything Goes, Doctor Zhivago, Promises, Promises and The Light in the Piazza. On television, Anton has had roles in Newton’s Law, Jack Irish, Neighbours, The Secret Life of Us, Marshall Law, MDA and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. In 2015, he was in the cast of Princess Pictures’ television opera The Divorce.

Emma Feliciano
Jennifer Parker / Ensemble

Emma Feliciano is a bright, up-and-coming performer based in Gadigal. She began her training at a young age at Ettingshausens, where she covered all facets of the performing arts, and also attended summer intensives at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. She made her professional musical theatre debut in Opera Australia’s The King & I, playing Princess Ying Lao Lak at the age of 10. Further Musical Theatre credits include playing Consuelo in Opera Australia’s West Side Story at the Sydney Harbour, covering the role of Rosalia, and featuring as Lila Dixon in Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn at the Hayes Theatre (Well Done Creative). Most recently, she was cast in the ensemble of Opera Australia’s Guys and Dolls on the Sydney Harbour. Emma was an original kid crew member on the Nickelodeon TV series Ready Set Dance and featured in the feature film, The Deb, directed by Rebel Wilson.

Emily Wood
Linda McFly / Ensemble

Emily is originally from Adelaide, South Australia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2020 under the direction of Crispin Taylor.
After graduating, Emily was cast in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella presented by Opera Australia and John Frost for Crossroads Live understudying the leading role of Ella.
During Emily’s time at WAAPA she performed in a variety of productions including the role of Cassie in A Chorus Line, the role of Ali and Dance Captain in Mamma Mia! Frank Jr in Merrily We Roll Along and Mary Bryant in Mary Bryant. She also appeared in productions of Strictly Ballroom and Cry-Baby.
Emily was the recipient of the 2019 Bill Warnock Award for the most promising second year student.

Sienna Embrey
Clocktower Woman / Ensemble

Sienna is a Melbourne-based performer who has trained in dance and theatre since she could first walk. She began her early training at Boyd Dance Academy, which eventually lead her to perform in televised events, in both Chicago and Los Angeles.
A graduate of Patrick School of the Arts, where she studied musical theatre under the direction of Andrew Hallsworth, Sienna made her professional debut in 2022 as Brenda in the national tour of Hairspray (John Frost for Crossroads Live). Immediately following this, she performed on the national tour of Elvis – A Musical Revolution (David Venn Enterprises), originating the role of Dixie Locke, and understudying Priscilla Presley.
More recently, Sienna made her choreographic debut for Soundworks’ Spring Awakening, before performing in Follies (Victorian Opera) and Guys and Dolls on Sydney Harbour as Mimi (Handa Opera & Opera Australia).
As a longtime lover of all things ’80s, she is thrilled to be going ‘Back to the Future’ and joining this phenomenal cast.

Alexandra Cashmere
Ensemble

Alexandra Cashmere is a Melbourne-based performer who has been working in the industry from a young age. She made her professional musical theatre debut at age 10 in the original Australian production of Love Never Dies (Dir. Simon Phillips) and has since built an impressive resume across film, television, and theatre.
Alexandra trained at SHOWFIT under Mathew Frank and Katherine Tonkin before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Musical Theatre) from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2024. During her time at VCA, she was honoured with the Paul and Donna Dainty Award for Excellence in Fine Arts.
Most recently, Alexandra starred as Ulla in The Producers (Dir. Julia Robertson) at the Hayes Theatre. She is thrilled to be part of the Australian premiere of Back to the Future and hopes you enjoy the show!

Celine Cleveland
Ensemble

Celine Cleveland is a proud Filipina-Australian artist based in Naarm. With a Diploma in Performing Arts from the Patrick School of the Arts (2021), Celine made her professional musical theatre debut as Women 3, The Bullet in the Australian/New Zealand tour of Hamilton (Michael Cassel Group).
Following this, Celine joined the Australian/International tour of Miss Saigon (Opera Australia and GWB Entertainment), further solidifying her position in the theatre world. Passionate about bridging cultures through storytelling, Celine is committed to using the arts as a medium for connection, fostering understanding and unity across diverse communities.
Most recently, Celine reprised her role as The Bullet in the Sydney return season of Hamilton (Michael Cassel Group). With a career that continues to evolve, Celine Cleveland is excited to be joining the original Australian cast of Back to the Future (Cross Roads Live), understudying the role of Jennifer.

Jack Coyne
Swing

Jack made his professional debut in 2016, playing the role of Tommy in Louise Withers & Associates’ production of Matilda the Musical. He later performed in Opera Australia’s Tosca and has appeared in various television commercials and corporate events as a professional dancer and singer.
Jack trained in all aspects of the performing arts at Michelle Slater Performing Arts Studio in Melbourne. He is incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported him throughout his journey and is deeply honoured to be part of the original Australian production of Back to the Future.

Taye Grant
Ensemble

Originally from the Gold Coast, Taye began performing in theatre at a young age, playing Bruce Bogtrotter in the Australian tour of Matilda the Musical (LWAA/RSC).
In 2024, he graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre. Whilst at WAAPA, Taye performed in Head Over Heels (Basilius), Legally Blonde (Kiki/Lowell/Dance Captain), And the World Goes ‘Round (Ensemble), Godspell (Ensemble), and Footloose (Ensemble/Ren Understudy). In 2023, he was also a recipient of WAAPA’s Finley Award.
Other credits include Lights, Camera, Can Can! – State Theatre Centre Perth and Crown Casino Perth (Carmelo Entertainment) and being a featured dancer in the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols – Brisbane (JCP).

Davy Harris
Swing

Davy Harris is a passionate triple-threat performer hailing from Queensland, Australia. Davy began training at the age of 7 and has never looked back. After completing high school, he made the move to Melbourne to train full-time for 4 years in both Dance & Musical Theatre at Patrick School of the Arts.
Upon graduating, Davy took to the high seas with Norwegian Cruise Line, performing for two years across the Mexican Riviera, Caribbean, and Mediterranean. His credits include Elements, Blazing Boots, Palace of Lights, and Footloose the Musical, where he had the privilege of working with Broadway’s David Ruttura and Nick Kenkel.
Beyond the stage, Davy has appeared in advertisements for Virgin Australia and WorkSafe Victoria. Back to the Future: The Musical marks his Australian national touring debut, and he is thrilled to bring this iconic story to life.

Jay Johns
Ensemble

From humble beginnings line dancing at the Hubertus Country Club, Jay graduated from Ed5 International and went straight onto competing in So You Think You Can Dance, making it to the Top 4 of Australia’s favourite Dancers.
Jay has made his way around Australia and the world performing as Bob in 9 to 5 the Musical (Crossroads Live), in Mickey’s Christmas Big Band at Disneyland Paris, the G.E.M XXX World Tour, Peter Pan (Bonnie Lythgoe Productions), the role of Slap in Hot Shoe Shuffle (Birdie Productions), and on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises Cruise Ships. He has also been a regular performer for Opera Australia, appearing in numerous productions at the Opera House and on the Harbour, most notably Carmen, Turandot and The Eighth Wonder.
Jay has choreographed many shows and events for JEM Entertainment (of which he is also co-founder), Seussical! The Musical (Birdie Productions), Fame! The Musical (Birdie Productions), and Mentally Sound (Action Reaction Entertainment). Jay is excitingly currently in the creation stages of his first one-man-show “Best Foot Forward”.
Jay is grateful to be able to do what he loves and share his passion, knowledge and experience with others, and hopes to inspire the upcoming generation of performers.

DWAYNE P. MITCHELL (Starlighter #2, Dance Captain, Fight Captain, Onstage Swing) is honored and grateful to continue his Hill Valley journey with the Australian Premier of Back To the Future: The Musical. Charlotte Page
Swing

Born and raised in Tasmania, Charlotte is a proud 2023 graduate from the Queensland Academy of Excellence in Musical Theatre (QAEMT), formerly the Queensland Conservatorium. Throughout her studies, she had the pleasure of performing in productions of Grease, Heathers, 42nd Street, and played the leading role of Allison Vernon-Williams in her final year production of Cry Baby the Musical. In 2024, Charlotte was honoured to make her professional musical theatre debut in Sunset Boulevard, produced by Opera Australia and GWB Entertainment, and continued the tour throughout Asia in 2025 as Assistant Dance Captain. Charlotte is delighted to be a part of the Australian original cast of Back To The Future, a nostalgic and iconic story that we all know and love.

Bronson Pfeiler
Ensemble

Bronson is a Melbourne artist with a strong rural background having been born and raised in Mount Gambier, South Australia. His past theatre credits include Guys and Dolls (Handa Opera), Hamilton Australia (MCG), West Side Story (Handa Opera), Mamma Mia the Musical (LWAA) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Crossroads Live Australia), 50 Shades of Grey The Musical Parody (DVE), Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies (ASC), The Beautiful Game (Manilla Street Productions), Jungle Book (ASC), as well as Sleeping Beauty: A Knight Avengers Tale (Bonnie Lythgoe Productions).
He also works extensively as a commercial dancer having featured alongside Anthony Callea, Tones and I and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

Isabella Roberts
Ensemble

Isabella trained at Brent Street studios in Sydney and made her professional musical theatre debut in Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill (GWB), as featured ensemble and Bella cover. After completing her contract, she assisted the show’s associate choreographer, Marc Kimelman, in New York City for the US National Tour auditions.
Isabella’s next role was Victoria the White Cat in CATS The Musical for the 2022-23 South Korean and Taiwan tour. Isabella’s credits also include Singin’ in the Rain (QPAC) and Snow White (Bonnie Lythgoe Productions) and performances at events such as The Premier’s Gala, Oz Harvest Concert, and Mardi Gras.
On screen, Isabella has appeared on “A (Very) Musical Christmas” on ABC (Michael Cassel) and in advertising campaigns for Tinder and Westpac.
Most recently, Isabella performed in the ensemble of Handa Opera’s Guys & Dolls (OA) on Sydney Harbour.

Kara Sims
Swing

Born in Melbourne, Kara studied classical voice at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, then completed their full-time training as a scholarship student at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance. Soon after, Kara made their commercial music theatre debut in Moulin Rouge! The Musical! as part of the Original Australian cast (u/s Arabia and Baby Doll. Global Creatures). Kara has since toured with Miss Saigon (u/s Kim and Gigi. Opera Australia, GWB Entertainment) and In The Heights (u/s Nina, Vanessa and Daniella. Josh Robson Productions).
Prior to graduating, Kara originated the role of Billie in A Sharp Intake of Breath as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival and the lead role of Max in Suddenly: A Short New Musical (DHB).
Proudly Filipina-Australian, Kara was a semi-finalist in the inaugural AOC Initiative in 2020 and is a member of the MEAA.

Jacob Steen
Ensemble

Jacob made his professional musical theatre debut in Mary Poppins the Musical for Michael Cassel Group (MCG), and went on to perform as part of the inaugural Australian ensemble for Groundhog Day the Musical (GWB Entertainment). His other musical credits include Young Buddy in Follies for Victorian Opera, Seaweed J. Stubbs in Hairspray at Crown Theatre Perth and Ted Hanover in Irvin Berlin’s Holiday Inn at the Hayes Theatre.
He completed his first year of the Bachelor of Music Theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts, as well as training in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acro, Musical Theatre and Contemporary under Renie Ann Martini OAM at the May Downs School of Dance. Jacob’s training began with jazz and tap under Jodie Greenwood at Upstage Dance Academy.
